Coin and Card Locks

You can download this catalogue in a pdf format in a section About us – Downloads.

Coin and card locks are used for cloak-room or similar lockers that are specified to be in operation at public places without a demand on staff handing out keys.

  • those locks are used in public buildings, libraries, swimming pools, shopping centres and other premises where there is a requirment for a short-term storage of luggage and other private items
  • a lock is installed on the inside of the door. A user puts a coin in or inserts a card into the lock, closes the door, by key turning locks the door and removes the key. The door is opened by a key which stays in the lock stationary from now on until another use.
  • after unlocking a card lock, the card is loose and it is possible to remove it from the lock
  • after unlocking a coin lock, the coin is dropped into a return coin container or into a container for coin capturing, the key stays in the lock
