ASSA ABLOY Rychnov, s.r.o. (earlier FAB, s.r.o.) was established in 1911 by Mr. Fáborský and Mr. Šeda. In 1997 became a member of the worldwide ASSA ABLOY group with its headoffice in Sweden.

FAB s.r.o., has changed corporate name to ASSA ABLOY Rychnov, s.r.o.
The annual general meeting of FAB, s.r.o., based on the decision of sole shareholder, has changed corporate name and trade name of the company to ASSA ABLOY Rychnov, s.r.o.
The aim of such step is to strengthen uniform identity of Swedish ASSA ABLOY Concern, and to consolidate its position on local and foreign market. Synergistic effects resulting from this alteration will allow us to better withstand global competitive pressures, better address potential clients and boost economic power of the entire holding.
The new name of ASSA ABLOY Rychnov, s.r.o. is expression of interconnection between the parent company name and the location of our manufacturing plant.

COMPANY FAB, S.R.O. HAS MADE APPEARANCES IN APRIL THIS YEAR AT TWO INTERNATIONAL BUILDING FAIRS - IBF 2006 IN BRNO AND CONECO IN BRATISLAVA.
Like every year, FAB, s.r.o. had a strong presence at the 11th International Building Fair IBF Brno and the 27th International Building Fair at Coneco Bratislava. These exhibitions focus on the building industry and related issues.
