FAB Plans To Double Its Production
Rychnov nad Kněžnou, 9 November 2006. FAB, a leading European manufacturer of security technology, plans investments for a large increase of production and recruitment of new employees. This follows from the development plan to make the plant in Rychnov nad Kněžnou become the largest European production centre of cylinder locks.
ASSA ABLOY - the world’s leading lock Group, and the owner of FAB, is undergoing a restructuring process at present with the objective is to increase worldwide productivity. Production are being moved from all over Europe to the plant in Rychnov nad Kněžnou in the forthcoming years. “A new production hall will be built and new employees will be recruited” says Roman Adami, the executive director of the FAB Construction Division.
In addition to investments into the production hall and machines, extension of the production will also entail a continuous and long-term recruitment of additional employees. As Roman Adami says, FAB will hire up to 300 new employees in the next three years. "For the new projects, we need employees able to operate the new technologies and to work in an international environment," adds Roman Adami.
FAB has been operating in the market since 1911. In its plant in Rychnov nad Kněžnou, it manufactures construction and industrial locks.
