ASSA ABLOY Rychnov, s.r.o. (earlier FAB, s.r.o.) was established in 1911 by Mr. Fáborský and Mr. Šeda. In 1997 became a member of the worldwide ASSA ABLOY group with its headoffice in Sweden.

President of the Czech Republic visited company FAB
Václav Klaus, the president of CR complimented our company in Rychnov nad Kněžnou by his visit, he met with the company´s management and also visited production areas.
The president of CR, Václav Klaus, visited the FAB company in Rychnov nad Kněžnou on 1st March, 2005. Mr. President arrived around 11AM together with the region commissioner and the mayor of Rychnov nad Kněžnou. The managing director of FAB, Vladimír Bayer and Sales&Marketing Unit Director, Dana Petrová greeted him in FAB. After the prologue of Vladimír Bayer, Mr. President had a short discussion with FAB management and signed an honorary certificate for FAB. The management dedicated Mr. President with a gift – Franz Kafka´s book „The Castle“ (it has a double meaning in Czech – also for a lock). Then Mr. President visited production halls and was very interested in product mounting and debated with employees.

FAB is preparing for international building fairs - IBF in Brno, the Czech Republic and CONECO in Bratislava, Slovakia
Company FAB, s.r.o. will, as every year, take a part in 12th international building fair IBF in Brno and 29th fair CONECO in Bratislava. Both fairs are focusing on the building industry and other related issues.
