The training system for customers of all distributional channels FAB – Akademie FAB – has been in operation since the spring of 2001. Year by year the courses organised by our company are becoming more and more popular and customers are heading to Rychnov nad Kněžnou not only from every corner of the Czech and Slovak republics, but also from abroad, i.e. Poland and Hungary.

Employees from more than 100 companies, whether from warehouses, Service centres FAB, Partners FAB, door manufacturers, Police CR employees, fire fighting brigades and insurance authorities went through the hands of our tutors last year. Various types of training are of course also designed for FAB employees and are compulsory for new staff. In total almost 500 individuals were trained in 2005. According to researches our courses are very appreciated by our customers and represent a huge competitive advantage.

Akademie FAB offers three different levels of training. The first is basic training in which trainees get essential information about all FAB products. This training is spread over two days and includes an excursion through our production factory. All training participants must successfully pass a final test to receive a certificate. The second, a one-day course focuses in more detail on Master Key System and the third course targets in greater depth door equipment as a whole. Part of this training also focuses on practical exercises in a mounting room, which is specially equipped for this purpose and is a “real hands” on approach to gaining great insight into the FAB product range. Last but not least we have to mention those courses that are performed with the participation of foreign tutors from allied companies of the ASSA ABLOY group. They are usually directed at one particular type of product and provide detailed knowledge of its construction and mounting.

Since Akademie FAB celebrates its 5th anniversary this year, we have decided to give it its own identity in the form of an original logo, new presentation templates and the new design of certificates. Also tutors represent Akademie FAB in new uniforms, all graduates receive, among other things, an Akademie FAB T-shirt.
